BIG FEASTIVAL26: WIN A QUICK WINS SIGNED COPY  – TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. PROMOTER

This competition is organized by Hero UK&I on behalf of Deliciously Ella ("Promoter", "we", "us", "our"). Hero UK&I Ltd is a subsidiary of Hero Group, a company incorporated in Switzerland.

2. COMPETITION PERIOD

(a)             Opening date: 28 August, 00:00 UK TIME

(b)            Closing date: 6 September, 11:59 UK TIME

(c)             Entries received after the closing date will not be counted.

3. ELIGIBILITY

(d)            This competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 or over, except where stated otherwise in the competition post.

(e)             The following persons are not eligible to enter: employees of Hero UK&I Ltd, associated brands (including Deliciously Ella, Organix, and Goodies), and any partner companies, agencies, or suppliers directly involved in this promotion.

4. HOW TO ENTER

To enter, participants must complete all of the following steps before the closing date:

(f)             Scan the QR code.

(g)            Complete the entry form with the requested details.

(h)            Tick the box confirming that you wish to enter the competition and agree to these Terms and Conditions.

Entry Restrictions:

(i)             Entries made using automated means, bulk entry software, fake accounts, multiple accounts, or any other method that is not in accordance with the spirit of these Terms & Conditions will be disqualified.

(j)             No purchase is necessary to enter this competition.

(k)            Internet access & a valid email address are required to enter.

5. THE PRIZE

Winner(s) will receive: A signed copy by Ella Mills of the cookbook Quick Wins: Healthy Cooking for Busy Lives

(l)             The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or alternatives unless agreed in writing by the Promoter.

(m)           The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with another of equal or greater value if the original prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond our reasonable control.

(n)            Any tax liability arising from the acceptance of the prize is the sole responsibility of the winner.

(o)            Where the prize includes travel, accommodation, or an experience, the winner is responsible for all ancillary costs not expressly included in the prize description, including but not limited to: travel to and from departure points or collection locations, meals, spending money, travel insurance, visas, and any other incidental expenses.

6. WINNER SELECTION & NOTIFICATION

(p)            One winner(s) will be selected at random from all valid entries received before the closing date.

(q)            The winner selection will take place on or around 7 September and will be notified via email within 1 day of the closing date.

(r)             If a winner does not respond within 7 days of notification, or if they decline the prize, we reserve the right to select an alternative winner using the same selection method. This process may be repeated as necessary.

(s)             The Promoter's decision on all matters relating to the competition, including winner selection and eligibility, is final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into.

7. PUBLICITY

(t)             By entering, you agree that your social media name, handle, or username may be announced publicly if you win, including on the Promoter's social media channels and websites.

(u)            We may contact you via direct message to arrange prize fulfilment and to request additional information necessary for delivery.

(v)            The Promoter may publish the winner's first name and winning entry (where applicable) for the purposes of announcing the competition result, unless the winner objects in writing within a reasonable time after being notified of their win.

(cc)          Data Retention: Your personal data will be retained for 3 months after the competition closes for the purposes of prize fulfilment, dealing with any queries, and complying with our legal obligations, after which it will be securely deleted unless we are required to retain it for a longer period by law.

11. LIABILITY

(gg)          Nothing in these Terms & Conditions shall exclude or limit the Promoter's liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by its negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (c) any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

(hh)          Subject to the above, the Promoter and any associated partners, agencies, or suppliers shall not be liable for: (i) entries not received, delayed, corrupted, or misdirected due to technical failures, connectivity issues, platform outages, or any other cause beyond our reasonable control; (ii) any loss, damage, or injury arising from acceptance, possession, or use of the prize, except where caused by the Promoter's negligence; (iii) any delays, cancellations, or modifications to the prize due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control; (iv) any failure by a third-party prize provider to fulfil their obligations.

(ii)            The Promoter reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the competition at any time if circumstances beyond our reasonable control make it necessary, including (without limitation) technical failures, acts of God, pandemics, government action, or changes in applicable law. Where possible, notice will be given via the original competition post and/or the Promoter's social media channels.

12. DISQUALIFICATION

The Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant who:

(jj)            Tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process, the operation of the competition, or any website or platform associated with the competition;

(kk)         Violates these Terms & Conditions or any applicable laws or regulations;

(ll)            Acts in a manner that is unsportsmanlike, disruptive, annoying, or with the intent to abuse, threaten, or harass any other person, including other entrants, the Promoter's staff, or social media users;

(mm)      Uses multiple accounts, automated means, scripts, bots, or third-party services to enter;

(nn)         Provides false, misleading, or inaccurate information;

(oo)          Engages in any conduct that the Promoter reasonably believes is contrary to the spirit or intent of the competition.

13. PLATFORM DISCLAIMER

(pp)          By entering, you acknowledge that you are providing your information to the Promoter (Hero UK&I Ltd) and not to any social media platform.

(qq)          You release the relevant social media platform(s) from any and all liability in connection with this competition.

(rr)            Any questions, comments, or complaints regarding this competition should be directed to the Promoter at hello@deliciouslyella.com , not to the social media platform.

(ss)           Entrants must comply with the terms of service of the relevant social media platform(s) in addition to these Terms & Conditions.

15. GENERAL

(tt)            By entering this competition, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions in full.

(uu)          These Terms & Conditions are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this competition shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

(vv)          If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, such provision shall be severed and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

(ww)        The Promoter's failure to enforce any provision of these Terms & Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
