It’s safe to say that we’re slightly obsessed with this toastie in the DE office at the moment! We’ve revisited an old community favourite recipe, and it certainly stands the test of time. It’s the perfect speedy lunch, and we love it teamed up with a crunchy slaw, green salad or a mug of steaming soup.

Be careful not to let the pan get too hot, otherwise the outside of the bread will burn – you’re simply aiming for a gentle heat.
